“Senior Living Week Expo”: U-M Health Housing Bureau for Seniors. Oct. 11 & 13–17. The annual Senior Living Week begins today with exhibits from housing, health, financial, and care providers and a keynote speech by Mariann Aalda (noon-1 p.m.), an actress and stand-up comic whose TEDx talk “Ageism Is a Bully … Stand Up to It!” launched her into activism. During the week, talks on a variety of issues for seniors, workshops, and open houses at senior housing communities around the county.
