the U-M's new Media Union, a growing number of multimedia performances
are appearing on The Calendar.

Ann Arbor District Library. Screening of Nathaniel Kahn's Oscar-nominated 2003 documentary about his search to understand his father, the noted architect Louis Kahn, who died bankrupt and alone in 1974.

Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. August 21-23. Ann Arbor debut of this comic who'll be familiar as the ubiquitous voice of cartoon characters from Ren and Stimpy and Futurama to contemporary Warner Brothers cartoons featuring the classic Looney Tunes characters. His stand-up shows feature an assortment of familiar cartoon characters in oddball situations. Preceded by 2 opening acts. Alcohol is served; the Friday & Saturday early shows are nonsmoking.
