Black Holes (12:30 p.m. Sat.) is an animated show that begins with the formation of the early Universe and the birth and death of stars and concludes with a simulated flight to a supermassive black hole lurking at the center of the Milky Way. Stars of the Pharaohs (2:30 p.m. both weekend days & Dec. 29 & 30) is an exploration of the use of science in ancient Egypt to tell time, make a workable calendar, and align huge buildings.
